At Linkroad, we partnered with MOBI.E, S.A. to design, implement, and manage Portugal’s national EV charging platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). By modernising legacy systems, adopting a hybrid cloud architecture, and embedding full automation, the platform now delivers high availability, real-time operations, and seamless third-party integration. This project demonstrates how utilities can accelerate the transition to electric mobility through cloud-native platforms, intelligent operations, and secure, scalable infrastructures.
Conceptual design and implementation of BCIE’s Digital Transformation Programme
Objective: Define the Bank’s Digital Transformation goals together with all user areas, and design a roadmap of transformative projects to enable 100% digital interaction, integrate core business applications, and modernise BCIE’s technology architecture.
Aligning the transformation objectives of diverse business units and external counterparts.Transitioning towards 100% digital interaction across all services.Integrating critical business applications into a unified and efficient system.Modernising the Bank’s architecture while ensuring security and compliance.Consultia IT, part of the Linkroad ecosystem, co-created a Digital Transformation roadmap with BCIE’s business areas and external stakeholders, prioritising projects with the greatest impact. Two strategic initiatives were defined and executed: the Digital Services Portal (PSD) and the Project Management Portal (PDP). Both were deployed in 2023, supported by a microservices-oriented architecture interconnected via an API Manager and hosted on a cloud infrastructure tested through a proof of concept. At the same time, we introduced agile trains, enabling multidisciplinary teams of BCIE staff and external partners to work collaboratively on continuous improvement and the modernisation of all banking applications.
